Lothar König has a huge scar above his right eye. A neo-Nazi once beat the Jena city youth pastor unconscious. But Lothar König refused to be defeated. He became involved in the fight against right-wing extremists, youth work, and the integration of foreigners far beyond the city limits and became known throughout Germany. His son Tilman König has now created a cinematic memorial to him that shows his courage, his contradictions, and the man in all his facets.
